Seattle Seahawks Hiring Ravens’ Mike Macdonald as New Head Coach

The Seattle Seahawks have found their successor to Pete Carroll.

Wile a deal is not yet finalized, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald is expected to be Seattle's new head coach.

Macdonald, 36, will become the youngest head coach in the NFL, taking that title from new Patriots coach Jerod Mayo.

Under Macdonald's leadership, Baltimore were the No. 1 defense through the 2023 regular season.

Macdonald's season ended last Sunday, as the Chiefs knocked out the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game 17-10.
